Last year, hundreds of people came to see John Davidson perform an eclectic dinner show of music, comedy and storytelling at the Atlantis Country Club. Fans who remembered him for television showed up in droves to see the charming song and dance man with the silver mane.
The good news is, Davidson liked it so much he decided to return. The bad news is, he’s only here for six shows, on March 8-10 and March 15-17.
Davidson, 71, says he’s not ready to retire. He simply loves performing too much to quit. He just wrapped a run as Bellamy in an Off Broadway production of “The Fantasticks,” and as soon as he’s stopped to catch his breath and kiss his family who live in Atlantis, he and his wife Rhonda are off on another adventure in their new 36-foot Fleetwood Bounder.
Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $61.32, which includes dinner, the show and gratuity. Reservations are required. Info: 561-965-5788; atlantisdine.com.
