Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 6pm we held our first ever cooking class entitled “Healthy and Fun Summer Cooking.” The event was hosted in the Palm Room and led by our own Chef Chris with assistance from David and Ruel.
The menu included Grilled Romaine Salad with a Fresh Fruit Salsa, Grilled Rib Eye Steaks with Horseradish Sauce and Sauteed Salmon with Dill Sauce. The vegetable was Sauteed Zucchini, Squash and Grape Tomatoes. Dessert was a Homemade Biscuit with Fresh Strawberries and Handmade Whipped Cream.
Participants included Mo and Nicole Thornton, Judy Kern, ManyAnn Pearson, Barbara Johnson and Susan Methfessel.
