Loving Couples Enjoy John Davidson’s Love Songs Show

no entries found

The three lucky couples who won our Valentines Day sweepstakes spent a romantic evening as guests of Atlantis Country Club on February 14th. They savored culinary treats from Chef Chris, the club’s talented executive chef, and then swooned to the tunes of star John Davidson who entertained the lovebirds in the packed Cabaret Room. In addition, each  lady received a long-stem red rose and a complimentary copy of John Davidson’s Love Songs CD. Davidson appears every weekend at Atlantis Country Club in dinner shows through March.

The winners are:

Bonnie and Chuck Agro from Lake Worth, Fla.

In her entry, Bonnie says there is an old saying that perfectly sums up why she loves her husband: “To the world, you’re just one person, but to one person you can mean the world.”

Ellie and Bob Aungst from Lake Worth, Fla.

Ellie cites patience and understanding among her husband’s wonderful attributes and says, “Bob is God’s blessing to me.”

Robert and Roberta Radkay from Atlantis, Fla.

Bob entered our sweepstakes to surprise Roberta, his wife of 69 years. Bob relates, “We met as high school sweethearts the day Brookline Massachusetts High School burned down (in 1935), and it’s been hot ever since.” Bob adds, “We are so thankful we have each other to lean on and to live with.”

Congratulations to these fine couples who had a great time at John Davidson’s Dinner Show on Valentine’s Day!

  2. Ellie and Bob Aungst

A special thank you to John Davidson for picking our name “out of the hat.” We had the nicest Valentine’s Day evening possible. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and the company of Bonnie, Chuck, Roberta and Robert. It was so much fun to see John lament the joys of growing older. (Growing up is apparently optional.) Such fun! I also want to say that the dining experience was excellent; the food perfectly prepared and presented; the wait staff attentive while not intrusive. Thank you very much.
